Job Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence of Hollard. The BA is the main link between business and IT and as such must have skills within both areas. Strong communication skills are required to elicit requirements, deliver solutions and resolve issues. The BA will be required to work on multiple projects concurrently and manage his\/her time effectively. A friendly outlook on life with a can-do attitude.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Process<\/p>\n
\tAnalyse and define Business requirements
\n\tProduce Business Requirements Specifications (functional, business rules, communications and other)
\n\tProduce accurate mapping of \u201cAs is\u201d and \u201cTo be\u201d processes
\n\tAssist in identifying project risks
\n\tTrack delivery of requirements and provide regular, continuous and accurate feedback to project management team
\n\tParticipation in and sign-off of user acceptance testing, pilot and production testing
\n\tProduce User Stories (when required)<\/p>\n
General<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to set process standards
\n\tDefine and design business solutions that meet customer requirements
\n\tEnsure all deliverables are delivered on time, within budget, scope and quality (meeting Hollard\u2019s quality guidelines and standards)
\n\tPerform efficient and effective JAD facilitation with relevant project stakeholders<\/p>\n
Teamwork<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders
\n\tCoach and mentor peers\/juniors<\/p>\n

Required Knowledge and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nRequired Experience (relevant or in a similar role)<\/p>\n
\tAI knowledge an advantage
\n\t5 or more years of Business Analysis experience
\n\t3 or more years within a SLDC\/Agile
\n\tExperience in the Insurance industry preferred.<\/p>\n
