Core Description<\/p>\n
\tResponsible to ensure that the assigned General Ledger (GL) accounts are maintained and reconciled in an efficient and effective manner, reporting directly to the Financial Controller \u2013 General Ledger & FI Journals.<\/p>\n
Key Deliverables \/ Primary Functions<\/p>\n
\tMatch and process supplier invoices.
\n\tResolve reconciling items by liaising with supplier and internal staff.
\n\tMaintain and reconcile supplier statements with relevant accounting records.
\n\tPrepare payment requisitions according to payment terms and forward remittance advices to suppliers.
\n\tVerify correctness of supplier master data on the accounting system.
\n\tComply with all relevant statutory regulations during the execution of duties i.e. VAT Act, SA Reserve Bank, Customs and Excise.
\n\tMaintain updated and accurate files.
\n\tPrepare timeous and accurate reports, as and when required.<\/p>\n
