Job Overview:<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our team as an Assembly Technician.The successful candidate will be responsible for carefully putting together components and parts of ABM Machines \u00a0by following detailed instructions, blueprints, and schematics, using hand tools and machinery to create a complete assembly, while also conducting quality checks to ensure the final product meets specifications and functions properly.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Manufacturing functions:<\/p>\n
\tChecking bill of material picking slip.
\n\tAssembly must be performed in a certain series of steps.
\n\tAssembling automated banking machines (ABM\u2019s) to 100% accuracy.
\n\tTesting (ABM\u2019s) to 100% completion.
\n\tFault finding and taking corrective measures.
\n\tPerform any ad hoc duty that might be assigned to \u00a0you by management from time to time.
\n\tRegularly refer to and update oneself with standard operation procedure governing the workplace.
\n\tGathering necessary parts and components according to the bill of materials.
\n\tPrecisely positioning and aligning parts using hand tools and power tools.
\n\tFastening components together using appropriate methods like screws, bolts, or adhesives.
\n\tWork requires attention to detail to ensure uniformity and quality in the finished product.
\n\tAssembler uses power tools or hand tools to perform his job.
\n\tWorkstation must always be cleaned and tools correctly stored according to the checklist.
\n\tAlways wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the workplace.<\/p>\n
Health and Safety:<\/p>\n
\tAttend safety education and refresher programs.
\n\tComply with safety policies and procedures at workplace.<\/p>\n
Ideal Candidate:<\/p>\n
Qualification & Technical Experience Required<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.\u00a0
\n\t1- 2 years\u2019 proven experience as an assembly technician or similar role.
\n\tProficiency with hand tools and power tools.
\n\tGood electrical understanding is a requirement \/ Mechanical aptitude.<\/p>\n
Skills and Attributes<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of G4S Deposita standard operating procedures.
\n\tComputer literate – ability to work on Excel, MS Outlook, Word.
\n\tCommunication (written and verbal).
\n\tSharing and cooperating.
\n\tProblem Solving.
\n\tTechnical skill Need some electrical skill set.
\n\tNeeds to be skilled with hand tools.
\n\tWork under pressure.
\n\tDealing with changing circumstances.
\n\tAttention to detail.<\/p>\n
