You will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.
\n\tYou will be exceptionally meticulous, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. Achieving inventory accuracy, coordinating orders, and tracking shipping times, overseeing the fulfilment of millions of product orders every year.
\n\tYou will contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice transport & logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance. Identifying and driving the fundamental changes necessary to orient the behaviour of teams towards customer needs<\/p>\n
Your key responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide direction, leadership and mentoring to the Internal & External Logistics\u2019 staff to meet the long-term goals of the Supply Chain
\n\tEnsure proper alignment and efficient teamwork with key clients and partners on site (Facility Management, Production, QHSE, Customer Experience, Planning and other support functions.
\n\tEnsure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
\n\tImplement a performance-driven culture through Continuous Improvement\/ Lean\/ Kaizen\u202fprinciples and concepts
\n\tProvide overall direction to the Internal Logistics teams including Goods Inbound, Goods Outbound\/ Outbound Deliveries.
\n\tEnsure a high level of focus on health & safety, housekeeping stock management\/ stock accuracy, allergen control, & labelling
\n\tDevelop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
\n\tTrain and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-term and long-term performance goals
\n\tOversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
\n\tReview and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
\n\tMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
\n\tManage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
\n\tSchedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfilment centre, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
\n\tInspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
\n\tMeet regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
\n\tOversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages<\/p>\n

You bring<\/p>\n
\tA Degree in operations, supply chain, logistics or equivalent. An MBA or master\u2019s degree advantageous
\n\t10+ years\u2019 experience managing internal & external logistics and leading teams
\n\tMust have knowledge of: Food Safety, Warehousing. With Knowledge on topics related to food safety: GMP, FSSC 22000, Food Defence, Food Safety.
\n\tKnowledge in International Standards (ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001)
\n\tStrong influencing and interpersonal skills with ability to work with multifunctional teams
\n\tBusiness acumen and ability to interact with technical counterparts
\n\tGood analytical skills, data-driven decision making
