Core Description<\/p>\n
\tResponsible to implement key strategic deliverables for the Openserve All IP Network. This includes the implementation of specific plan, build and\u00a0engineering activities, in the network and element management areas.
\n\tConvening meetings and initiate site surveys to determine project requirements,\u00a0compile executable files and place purchase orders. Liaise with service providers and relevant internal role players to oversee and effect build\u00a0requirements.
\n\tCapitalise asset expenses and keep the Openserve asset register up to date. Keep abreast with the latest telecommunications\u00a0developments to support the Openserve network.<\/p>\n
Job Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide high-level support and consult various role-players across the value chain to modernise the Openserve IP network (Switching and Routing).
\n\tEstablish and maintain relationships with ICT peers and counterparts via the following media: Workshops, Conferences, Forums and Special interest groups
\n\tParticipate in Procurement process w.r.t. contract negotiations, inputs to Cross Functional Sourcing Team (CFST) and evaluate technical aspects of\u00a0tenders (RFB Request for Bid; RFP Request for Proposal)
\n\tConvene site surveys to determine project requirements.
\n\tCompile executable files
\n\tPlace purchase orders timeously and correctly.
\n\tCompile daily\/ weekly\/ monthly, KPI Master, Project, Network and Element Management, SAP system reports and documentation.
\n\tMonitor and update Capital expenditure of projects\/ programmes against spending plan
\n\tUpdate PC (Project) estimate database
\n\tEngineer Capital Projects w.r.t. Detailed Engineering, WAP process, compile CPA for approval and compile Equipment Specification\/ Bill of Materials
\n\tImplement\u00a0Capital Project w.r.t. Statement of Work (SOW), liaise with suppliers\/ build, progress reports, initiate billing process, commission\/ decommission, track\u00a0expenditure and capitalize project
\n\tCompile\/ submit Network and Element Management Project Plan
\n\tCompile Network and Element Management Business Cases, submit and obtain approval<\/p>\n
