Main purpose \/ objective of the position:<\/p>\n
\tManage the successful delivery of an integrated Facilities Management solution to the client in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
\n\tOversee activities of service and maintenance contractors and staff, execution of building relatedactivities as predetermined by the General Manager\/Key Account Manager.
\n\tEstablish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with tenants and service contractors; assist to co-ordinate repairs, revamps and tenant installations; carry out inspections and general building maintenance.<\/p>\n

\nThis position has the ability to:
\nDecisions are based on knowledge of theory and systems. Required to choose from a limited array of routines or rules at his\/her disposal. Works within specific prescribed policies and guidelines which includes:<\/p>\n
\tProcure building services
\n\tIssues order for maintenance work
\n\tRecommendation for the termination of service contracts
\n\tDecision making in emergency situations
\n\tCompliance of facilities to OHSA & other statutory requirements
\n\tApproval of standard services rendered<\/p>\n
Experience \/ Education:
\nRequired:<\/p>\n
\tBuilt Environment\/Building Science\/Project Management\/Construction Management or similar technical tertiary qualification.
\n\tTwo years practical experience in the facilities management industry.
\n\tOr Minimum Grade 12 with extensive experience in Electrical, Mechanical or Construction background and technical skills.<\/p>\n
Preferred:<\/p>\n
\tExperience within the Facilities Management field is preferable
\n\tBuilt Environment or similar technical tertiary qualification<\/p>\n

\n\tBasic contract management
\n\tPlanning, Co-ordination and Organizing
\n\tBudgeting and Financial Management
\n\tIT Literacy \u2013 MS Office, MS Excel \/ MDA \/ SAP

\n\tDriver\u2019s license.
\n\tStrong people management skills and experience
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills<\/p>\n
