This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to contribute to a dynamic HR team while growing their HR expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities :\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>HR Operations and Employee Support<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct regular check-ins with the Warehouse Leader on people-related updates and day-to-day HR matters.<br \/>\n\tProvide first-line support on HR-related queries for warehouse employees and managers.<br \/>\n\tManage the time and attendance system for all warehouse employees, ensuring accuracy in hours, shifts, and leave records.<br \/>\n\tWork closely with the LM Committee and Business Process Outsourcing Services (BPO)to coordinate employee-related processes and maintain alignment.<br \/>\n\tCheck and reconcile monthly labour broker invoices against agreed rates, hours, and headcount.<br \/>\n\tAssist in coordinating and administering performance review processes across the warehouse.<br \/>\n\tSupport employee engagement by coordinating activities, administering the Employee Satisfaction (EXI) surveys, and assisting in the implementation of initiatives that contribute to a positive employee experience.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment Support<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertise job vacancies promptly and manage long and shortlisting of candidates.<br \/>\n\tSchedule interviews in collaboration with the HR Business Partner Shared Support.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all recruitment checks, including references and documentation, are completed accurately.<\/p>\n<p>Payroll and Leave Management<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare and verify payroll data for approval by HR Business Partner shared support , ensuring accuracy and timely submission.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and manage leave balances, processing applications efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>Team Integration<\/p>\n<p>\tFacilitate onboarding processes to ensure a seamless start for new employees.<br \/>\n\tMaintain and update employee records to reflect accurate Information.<\/p>\n<p>IR<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide basic guidance on labour practices and escalate complex matters to the HRBP Shared Support when required.<br \/>\n\tAssist with preparation for CCMA cases, ensuring accurate documentation and case files, while representation is handled by the HRBP Shared Support.<br \/>\n\tSupport the Warehouse Leader and HRBP Shared Support\u00a0 in monitoring and reviewing third-party service level agreements.<\/p>\n<p>Training and Development Coordination<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with the Learning &amp; Development team to schedule mandatory training sessions.<br \/>\n\tTrack and report training hours, ensuring compliance with internal policies.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance and Documentation<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist in preparing for regulatory visits, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with the Warehouse Facilities Manager in managing IOD\u2019s and maintain records on HR shared drive.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tStay updated on HR policies and legal requirements to maintain compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Uniform &amp; Work Asset Administration\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tCoordinate the ordering of uniforms and work assets for new team members.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all employees are equipped with the necessary PPE to maintain a safe working environment.<br \/>\n\tConduct monthly audits of uniforms and verify the functionality of IT equipment.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with the IT department to address work asset requirements and resolve equipment-related issues.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience in HR administration or a similar role is advantageous.<br \/>\n\tExperience in HR within a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment<br \/>\n\tLean Six Sigma or process improvement certification advantageous.<br \/>\n\tDiploma in HR or equivalent qualification is essential.<br \/>\n\tStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.<br \/>\n\tFamiliarity with HR systems and payroll processes is a plus.<\/p>\n<p>Skills Required:<\/p>\n<p>\tCommunication: Ability to liaise professionally with candidates, employees, and management.<br \/>\n\tOrganisation: Skilled in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.<br \/>\n\tProblem-Solving: Proactively address issues to ensure smooth HR operations.<br \/>\n\tTechnical Proficiency: Comfortable with HR software and Google Suite.<\/p>\n<p>Personal Attributes<\/p>\n<p>\tAdaptable and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>leroymerlin.mcidirecthire.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/leroymerlin.mcidirecthire.com","_company_name":"Leroy Merlin","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Leroy Merlin is a major player in the global DIY market.
