\tOur client is seeking a dynamic Facilities Manager to oversee the planning, management, and maintenance of a high-profile site. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to ensure compliance, efficiency, and exceptional tenant service.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tManage all aspects of facilities operations, including maintenance, procurement, budgeting, and compliance
\n\tOversee occupational health and safety policies, ensuring full compliance with legislation
\n\tControl financial budgets for repairs, maintenance, and planned projects
\n\tDrive energy management, utilities control, and sustainability initiatives
\n\tManage risk, statutory inspections, and technical support for building assets
\n\tBuild strong relationships with tenants, service providers, and regulatory bodies<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA relevant qualification in Facilities or Property Management (BSc, diploma, or related degree)
\n\t5-8 Years experience in the facilities or property sector
\n\tAccreditation with SAFMA as a Facilities Professional
\n\tTechnical background in electrical\/mechanical engineering (NQF 5 of higher)
\n\tRetail facilities management experience will be a plus
\n\tStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n
