Purpose of the job:<\/p>\n
\tTo assist the Senior Accountant and Finance Department Supervisor with day-to-day administration.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience \u2013 not negotiable<\/p>\n
\tMatric\/Grade 12
\n\tAccounting related Qualification NQF4 or above
\n\tMinimum of 5 years commercial accounting experience
\n\tOwn reliable transport
\n\tExperience working on QuickBooks or other similar accounting packages<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience – advantageous<\/p>\n
\tExperience in the short-term insurance industry would be advantageous.
\n\tResides in the Upper Highway area.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, Skills and Behavioural attributes:<\/p>\n
\tBe of high moral standing and understand that the level of work involved is highly confidential.
\n\tHave advanced Excel skills,
\n\tHave strong reporting skills,
\n\tBe an analytical thinker with high attention to detail accruement

\n\tAble to analyse data to effectively solve problems,<\/p>\n

\tTraining folder management
\n\tOversee time and attendance administration within the department
\n\tDept order switching management
\n\tData capture of claims
\n\tCosts and charges processing
\n\tTrack MRA and financial distribution
\n\tManage the Finance Dept. rewards and incentives.
\n\tControl management of the daily Short Term claims workload.
\n\tAudit salvage and recoveries
\n\tSecond payment authorisation payments
\n\tMonthly reconciliations
\n\tCoffee shop management
\n\tAssist with company audits\/SARS audits
\n\tAssist with various accounting processes.
\n\tControl Petty cash
\n\tInsurance claims payments
\n\tInsurance Top Up requests for 24HR, Woolworths, Massmart, TFG, Vuka, Mr Price, TUG (The Unlimited) and any other as required
