Consumer Post Paid and Home \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Senior Manager &#8211; Legal Group Strategy and Transformation \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Specialist &#8211; Assurance.Technology Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p>Mission:<\/p>\n<p>\tTo support and action the Supersonic and MTN FTTH billing processes by supporting the delivering accurate and timeous billing to internal &amp; external customers<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n<p>Role Complexity:<\/p>\n<p>\tMonitor system performance through root cause analysis.<\/p>\n<p>Task Complexity:<\/p>\n<p>Planning and scheduling of Billing runs:<\/p>\n<p>\tPlan, schedule and control bill runs and migrations<br \/>\n\tContribute towards continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level<\/p>\n<p>Billing Operations and Coordination:<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide end-to-end supervision of the Billing processes, ensuring that all service provider corporate and consumer customers and staff are billed correctly in accordance with predefined quality assurance processes and standards<br \/>\n\tImport all manual Voice Call detailed report before Billing run<br \/>\n\tPerform quality checks on Excel documents generated post bill runs, highlight any problems and escalate\/resolve if possible.<br \/>\n\tQuality checks on data generated during the bill run sign off and authorize supplier to commence printing\/mailing.<br \/>\n\tPerform quality checks at supplier (printing and mailing) throughout the process to ensure minimum\/zero error.<\/p>\n<p>Vendor\/SLA Management<\/p>\n<p>\tTake ownership and resolve\/escalate all billing queries as highlighted during the course of the month.<br \/>\n\tBilling Cycle Management and ensure timeous cycle migrations<br \/>\n\tParticipation in Pilot programs \u2013 Pilot billing as well as systems and Business impacts<br \/>\n\tResolution of any billing issues timeously and ensuring appropriate corrective action via Support teams.<br \/>\n\tEnsure revenue leakages identified via the Revenue Assurance process are continuously updated on the billing system.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that package and tariffs are created according to requirements and authority, tested and delivered timeously.<br \/>\n\tQA of the packages and tariffs created prior to release<br \/>\n\tGenerate and prepare monthly Billing Operations reports.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the logging Change request for system enhancements.<br \/>\n\tAssume responsibility for all audit point requests for the billing Ops department.<\/p>\n<p>Process and procedure effectiveness:<\/p>\n<p>\tResolve billing issues and queries timeously, ensuring appropriate corrective action through IS<br \/>\n\tMaintain relationship with Vendors<br \/>\n\tEnsure that workflow continues without interruption<br \/>\n\tContinually improve existing processes and procedures to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and performance<\/p>\n<p>Financial Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure month end procedures are completed by the 3rd of each month including GL and Aging reconciliations.<\/p>\n<p>Quality Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure evaluations and quality checks are done according to Supersonic quality standards<br \/>\n\tEnsure adherence to credit management<br \/>\n\tEnsure service delivery according to Supersonic quality standards<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the Audit points and findings are addressed and completed<\/p>\n<p>Customer Satisfaction \/ Customer Service<\/p>\n<p>\tContinuously seek feedback from clients\/ stakeholders to improve on quality and customer service standards<br \/>\n\tLiaise with the various customers on their billing and service\/support requirements<br \/>\n\tFacilitate Billing Operations Induction to new staff members as required by HR Business Partners<br \/>\n\tProvide input on request from other Supersoni functional areas<br \/>\n\tUnderstand customer needs and develop and fine-tune systems accordingly<br \/>\n\tPut contingency plans in place to prevent delays in the billing process and enhance the customer experience<br \/>\n\tUnderstand customer needs and input into the fine-tuning of processes and procedures accordingly<br \/>\n\tProvide advice on the best approach to reach the best results<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Education:<\/p>\n<p>\t3 Year Diploma in Finance<\/p>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising others<br \/>\n\tExperience working in a medium organization<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge:<\/p>\n<p>\tComputer literacy.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of billing system applications.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of credit management.<\/p>\n<p>Skills \/ physical competencies:<\/p>\n<p>\tCommunication skills.
