ROLE SUMMARY:<\/p>\n
\tTo adopt a holistic view to students in their care, promoting the general progress and well-being of individuals and of any class or group assigned to them. To create a positive learning environment and motivate students to achieve their full potential.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tPlan prepare and present interesting and exciting lessons.
\n\tEstablish a teaching environment that is nurturing, and which promotes engaged learning.
\n\tBehave in a professional manner with regard to punctuality, behavior and standards of work.
\n\tEvaluate, reflect on and refine teaching practice.
\n\tTeach extra lessons, when required, on two afternoons per week.
\n\tBe open to continuously develop ones teaching through personal and school wide professional development.
\n\tProduce resources of a high standard for students.
\n\tRespond to e-mails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours.
\n\tShow loyalty to all facets of Reddam House.
\n\tAttend all special occasions at the discretion of the relevant Head.
\n\tComplete continues assessment, progress reports and all other forms of student evaluation.
\n\tWrite report comments.
\n\tThe post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head\/line manager determine.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrevious experience with students in a Preparatory School
\n\tUniversity or College degree in appropriate subject
\n\tCertified Teaching Status\/SACE
