\tThe General Manager for Broker and Corporate will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the department. The successful individual will drive the growth of our broker and corporate client portfolios, ensure the delivery of unparalleled service, and lead a high-performing team.
\n\tThe ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in client relationship management, business development, and team leadership.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications Required<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12\/Standard 10\/NQF 4
\n\tRelevant qualification\/certification
\n\tFAIS compliant
\n\tKI will be beneficial<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience Required<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3-5 years Broker related experience
\n\tMust have holistic knowledge of a broker operation across sales and operations.
\n\tMust understand the legal and compliance framework of an intermediated business.
\n\tHave a track record of established relationships with Miway contracted brokers.
\n\tHave comprehensive knowledge of regulated commission payable to intermediaries
\n\tMust be proficient in both personal lines and business insurance.
\n\tUnderstand the legal framework and operational requirements of outsourced intermediary agreements<\/p>\n

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for setting budgets across the Corporate and Broker skill set.
\n\tSeek growth opportunities amongst the intermediary market.
\n\tAttend all related broker engagement and networking opportunities.
\n\tIncrease awareness of Miway amongst the broker distribution channels.
\n\tDrive staff engagement across the broker business.
\n\tDrive sales while optimising the operation.
\n\tDriving and achieving monthly sales targets.
\n\tDrive strategic initiatives as agreed with the Head of Department.
\n\tManaging the Sales teams and all relationships.<\/p>\n
