\tAre you passionate about wine and love sharing your enthusiasm with others? Meridian Wine Merchants is actively searching for an enthusiastic and achievement-oriented individual to join their team as a\u00a0Promoter\u00a0on a\u00a0fixed-term basis\u00a0in the\u00a0Kempton Park Area.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities include:<\/p>\n
\tEngage with customers passing through the airport by informing them of the variety of products from the Meridian Wine Merchants portfolio.
\n\tActively approach customers to inform them of products that are on promotion, new products and general assistance regarding their preferred purchase.
\n\tStay up to date regarding brand knowledge by attending tastings and general updates from all wineries through internal communication.
\n\tAssist with inventory management by ensuring sufficient stock levels of all the Meridian Wine Merchants products are maintained and inform Store Manager of any out of stocks.
\n\tMaintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring products are neatly displayed and shelves are stocked.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tCertificate in Sales, Marketing or related fields. \u00a0
\n\tCWA Certificate SA Introductory Course (or equivalent)
\n\tMinimum: More than 1-year proven experience in sales, marketing, or promotions, preferably within the wine industry.
\n\tPreferred: 2 + years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or promotions, within the wine industry.<\/p>\n
