Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Events Specialist will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing high-impact events that align with RMA business goals and brand. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of events, from concept through to execution and post-event analysis.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services industry and a deep understanding of the nuances of delivering high-level client and industry events.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u00a0\u00a0Event Planning<\/p>\n
\tDevelop a comprehensive annual event calendar in alignment with marketing and business objectives.
\n\tDefine event objectives, target audience, key messaging, and success metrics.
\n\tCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure events align with group wide priorities<\/p>\n
Event Execution<\/p>\n
\tLead end-to-end event management, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor negotiations, logistics, speaker management, content development, and on-site execution.
\n\tIndependently manage events ranging from executive roundtables, investor conferences, client appreciation events, roadshows, webinars, and trade shows.
\n\tEnsure all events are executed with excellence, on time, and within budget.
\n\tStakeholder & Vendor Management
\n\tLiaise with key internal stakeholders including BMCE, business units, and senior leadership.
\n\tManage third-party vendors, agencies, AV teams, designers, and other suppliers.
\n\tNegotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to optimise costs and ensure high-quality service delivery.<\/p>\n
Compliance & Risk Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all events are compliant with internal policies and industry regulations.
\n\tMitigate potential risks associated with client-facing events through proper planning and documentation.<\/p>\n
Post-Event Reporting<\/p>\n
\tMeasure event ROI through feedback, data analysis, and reporting on event performance.
\n\tConduct post-event evaluations and provide actionable insights to improve future event strategies.<\/p>\n
Marketing Integration<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with digital, brand, and communications teams to develop promotional materials, registration pages, email campaigns, and post-event content.
\n\tEnsure brand consistency and messaging across all event touchpoints.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Required Skills & Experience:<\/p>\n
\t5\u20138+ years of proven event management experience, with at least 3 years in the financial services industry (e.g., banking, asset management, investment services, insurance).
\n\tStrong track record of managing events independently from ideation to execution.
\n\tExcellent project management and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
\n\tDemonstrated ability to engage with senior executives and manage high-stakes client-facing events.
\n\tStrong negotiation and vendor management skills.
\n\tExperience with virtual and hybrid event platforms
\n\tHigh attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAnalytical mindset; able to assess event performance and make data-driven recommendations.<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.<\/p>\n
