\tTo assist the Department in accomplishing monthly payroll objectives accurately and timeously,\u00a0through the utilization of a disciplined approach which will enable accurate reconciliation of required\u00a0information.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:<\/p>\n
\tCapturing of weekly paid wages employee data on Jarrison Time (time and attendance system) and SAP payroll system.
\n\tJarrison time: Add and edit clocking\u2019s, Shift pattern correction, exception reports.
\n\tTraining Time Clerks and Group Leaders on Jarrison Time related queries.
\n\tPerforming RMA calculations and submissions for employees going on disability.
\n\tPayment of employees on secondment (calculations of tax, pension and medical aid).
\n\tEnsure accurate calculation and processing of employee wages, including regular pay, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
\n\tManage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment of wages, taxes, and benefits.
\n\tLoading of correct Garnishee deductions.
\n\tLoading of Various tax related\/non-tax related earnings and deductions accurately (e.g. Long Service Awards\/ Suggestion scheme awards, Study Assistance\/ Sundry debtors and Insurance Excess, etc).\u00a0
\n\tSetting up of new Vendors for third party payments.
\n\tAnalyze wage-related data, identify trends, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
\n\tResponding to employee queries regarding wages deductions and benefits and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
\n\tRaising of monthly payment for Disability payroll.
\n\tProcessing manual payments due to late submission of payroll input.
\n\tAssists in budgeting and forecasting wage-related expenses, ensuring alignment with company financial goals.
\n\tConduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance in wage-related records and payments.
\n\tLiaises with various departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure seamless coordination and resolution of wage-related matters.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum NQF4 qualification \/ Matric & studying towards a qualification in related area (Business\/Finance\/HR).
\n\tMust be computer literate \u2013 Microsoft packages \/ SAP HR modules\/Advanced Excel skills.
\n\tMust have experience in administration\/finance\/statistical calculations, data & formulas.
\n\tMust have experience in Jarrison Time (time and attendance system).
\n\tMust have experience in RMA calculations and payments.
\n\tMust have minimum 2 years\u2019 experience in a remuneration\/payroll environment in the Manufacturing Automotive Industry.
\n\tBasic understanding of tax, pension, provident, UIF and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
\n\tGood communication skills both verbal and written.
\n\tMust be prepared to work overtime when required to do so.<\/p>\n
