\tAs part of our apprenticeship program, VKB Milling offers various apprenticeships. In this role, you will receive hands-on training to develop the skills needed to become a certified Electrician. You will assist experienced Electricians in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAssist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and control systems.
\n\tLearn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes.
\n\tPull wire, bend conduit, and install circuit breakers and panels.
\n\tUse hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision.
\n\tMaintain tools, materials, and work area in clean and safe condition.
\n\tFollow safety standards and electrical codes at all times.
\n\tSupport licensed electricians on projects.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Job Requirement<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 \/ NQF 4
\n\tStrong interest in electrical work and technical problem-solving.
\n\tEnrolled in or completion of a pre-apprenticeship program.
\n\tAbility to work in outdoor environments and physical conditions
\n\tStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn
\n\tGood communication and teamwork skills
\n\tAbility to follow instructions and work under supervision
\n\tA positive attitude and a strong work ethic<\/p>\n
