Job Summary:<\/p>\n
\tThe Clinical Technician is responsible for the maintenance and management of medical equipment in Hospitals as per manufacturer specifications and Healthcare regulations. Ensure the continuity of operations in accordance with the applicable Clinix Health Group standards and other related legal requirements and best practice.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tNQF level 6 National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Clinical
\n\tMinimum of 3 Years experience in management and maintenance of medical equipment in a hospital environment.
\n\tMember of the Clinical Engineering Association of South Africa (CEASA)
\n\tDriver\u2019s license
\n\t2 years\u2019 experience
\n\tHospital experience is non-negotiable
\n\tProficient in Troubleshooting and repairing electronic medical equipment<\/p>\n
Minimum Job Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tAttend to daily job cards obtained from internal stakeholders
\n\tConduct equipment evaluations and assessments to ensure all medical equipment are in good working condition
\n\tPerform routine service of medical equipment per manufacturer specifications
\n\tProvide on-call services to the hospital after working hours to ensure equipment issues are remediated as issues arise
\n\tConduct and update the Asset Register bi-annually
\n\tDevelopment of an annual service plan for all clinical equipment in alignment to manufacture\u2019s specifications
\n\tProvide guidance and motivation during the purchase of new clinical equipment
\n\tKeep accurate records of service and maintenance job cards on all clinical equipment
\n\tIdentify the need for and organise training for relevant clinical personnel
\n\tLiaise with external service providers to service clinical equipment and monitor their work outputs
\n\tImplement, monitor and control technical and maintenance processes according to quality standards, policy, and compliance and governance requirements<\/p>\n
