Excludes role and leadership \/ management.<br \/>\n\tThe provision of innovative solutions and service excellence to ensure effective SME products &amp; services for the Channel in an ever changing Environment.<br \/>\n\tDefine and manage the implementation of the SME Branded retail framework.<br \/>\n\tEnsure alignment of all activities and communication of the strategy, objectives and requirements of EBU and alignment to the overall strategy for Branded Retail Channel.<br \/>\n\tContribute towards long-term forecasts and predictions (2-3 years), analyzing trends and highlighting areas of the business that may be developed further<br \/>\n\tProvide input into reviewing organisational activities that impact on SME Branded retail channel, assisting in recommending corrective actions if necessary.<br \/>\n\tTo understand, anticipate and capitalise on changes in customer &amp; industry behaviour<br \/>\n\tDrive relationships with Internal and external stakeholders, in order to deliver bottom line results<br \/>\n\tTo achieve measurable results through the leverage of Key Account Management, customer interaction and relationships, internal people and processes.<br \/>\n\tEstablish \/ grow value of SME Branded Retail Channel<br \/>\n\tProvide input and direction to the development of sales and service targets within the SME Branded Channel<br \/>\n\tForecast acquisition and, reduce inactive base for the SME Branded Channel, and liaise with relevant areas to ensure strategic objectives are met<br \/>\n\tIdentify and maximise distribution footprint opportunities within the SME Branded Channel<br \/>\n\tCarry out financial interpretation and performance assessments<br \/>\n\tImprove customer service delivery<br \/>\n\tLiaise with relevant areas of the business to ensure effective POS material management<br \/>\n\tIdentify, implement and give feedback on income generating opportunities, ensuring viable cost-benefit ratios.<br \/>\n\tTrack and optimise SME Branded Channel performance in terms of cost and revenue contribution, reporting on performance as appropriate.<br \/>\n\tProvide accurate forecasting on all product and service requirements and liaise with relevant areas of the business to ensure timeous execution<br \/>\n\tProvide accurate and valid communication on new products and services &amp; any enhancements to internal and external stakeholders within allocated portfolio of accounts<br \/>\n\tLiaise with various support areas to ensure delivery of SLA&#8217;s.<br \/>\n\tBuild and maintain professional relationships with the Branded Channel stakeholders, suppliers and internal stakeholders<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the SME Branded Channel conform to regulatory requirements, and escalate non conformance<br \/>\n\tCollect correct and complete signature and ensure the correct filing of Agreements and appendages.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance to commercial relationship obligations within SME Branded Channel, recommending and implementing corrective action.<br \/>\n\tManage and develop commercial relationships within SME Branded Channel.<br \/>\n\tProvide input into innovative promotional planning within the SME Branded Channel and assist with achievement of targets.<br \/>\n\tDrive implementation of promotional plans in line with Marketing and Sales plans, objectives and requirements, including marketing and store promotions, liaising with relevant areas of the business for successful implementation when needed.<\/p>\n<p>Channel Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and maintain a dynamic annual plan for the SME Branded Retail Channel.<br \/>\n\tEnsure alignment to MTN CBU BRC and SME BRC Strategy<br \/>\n\tSet and allocate agreed sales and service targets for the SME Branded Channel, identifying and reporting on possible problems and variances appropriately.<br \/>\n\tIncrease revenue through effective channel management and development, effective product mix and excellent customer service.<br \/>\n\tPut effective methods and standards in place in order to provide a holistic SME Branded Channel management interface.<br \/>\n\tMaintain an ongoing and thorough understanding of MTN Commercial Trading Terms &amp; Agreement including Commission Annexure, and all amendments, as well as MTN standard operating procedures and ensure compliance in all aspects with the assigned national account portfolio.<br \/>\n\tIncrease brand presence continuously by growing MTN influence at store and customer.<br \/>\n\tCollect and collate competitor information, generating information and provide feedback and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders<br \/>\n\tMediate resolution of escalated queries within the SME Branded Channel.<br \/>\n\tEnsure constant update of knowledge and growth and development of staff.<br \/>\n\tIdentify training needs and liaise with Marketing and Training to ensure that internal and external sales teams are trained and skilled to engage with customers and utilise sales tools effectively.<br \/>\n\tAttend regular handset manufacturer meetings and Branded Retail meetings<br \/>\n\tMaintain self-development and knowledge in all required areas<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate proficiency on all required systems and access of information pertaining to channel management<\/p>\n<p>SME Branded Channel sustainability<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify the viability, sustainability and financial performance of the SME Branded channel and provide recommendations and put corrective action in place as appropriate.<br \/>\n\tAssist SME Branded Channel with strategic and business planning to ensure SME viability and sustainability.<br \/>\n\tIdentify non-performance and non-achievement of target by using Key Account Plan and Business Plan as reference.<br \/>\n\tManage and optimise cost of sales for the SME Branded channel, ensuring compliance with budgets, re &#8211; forecasts and targets<br \/>\n\tDevelop and actively drive action plans in conjunction with the CBU Branded Channel to sustain or improve achievement of targets (actual vs. Target \u2013 gross and nett)<br \/>\n\tAssist the SME Branded Channel with identifying and meeting training needs<br \/>\n\tCompile reports on the SME Branded Channel performance as required<br \/>\n\tEnsure SME Branded Channel base maintenance and growth<\/p>\n<p>Cost Control<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure expenditure is considered and drives effective return on investment remaining within budget parameters.<br \/>\n\tIdentify areas where budget is not spent effectively and seek ways to reduce and optimise expenditure where possible.<br \/>\n\tReport on monthly expenditure and budget control<\/p>\n<p>Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare reports on key performance areas including insights and analysis as required regarding the SME Branded Channel<br \/>\n\tProvide financial interpretation and performance assessment report on the SME Branded Channel<br \/>\n\tCompile accurate recommendation and sustainability report of the SME Branded Channel<br \/>\n\tCollate and prepare relevant revenue information and sales data as required.<\/p>\n<p>Customer Satisfaction<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure a proactive approach is adopted to prevent problems from arising in the future.<br \/>\n\tDevelop and maintain solid relationships with stakeholders, building relationships to ensure that all queries are responded to quickly and effectively.<br \/>\n\tEducate stakeholders and internal customers on the role of retail channel and how they may contribute and add value.<br \/>\n\tEnsure delivery on SME Branded Channel strategies<br \/>\n\tIdentify trends \/ patterns pertaining to customer &amp;
