The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the Europe-Africa-Middle East and Eurasia (EAME) region. This is a senior-level role within the Caterpillar Resource Industries division, requiring proven leadership in managing complex site operations and driving performance improvements across large mining fleets.<\/p>\n<p>What You\u2019ll Do<\/p>\n<p>\tAs a Site Performance Director, you will lead a high-impact team of Site Performance Managers focused on optimizing mining fleet performance across key sites. You will work closely with customers, Cat dealers, peers, and internal stakeholders to drive equipment availability, reduce cost per ton, and ensure operational excellence\u2014especially in challenging mining site environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization, will be essential.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tAccountable for meeting Fleet Physical Availability targets at all prioritized sites across the region.<br \/>\n\tLead, recruit, and develop a team of Site Performance Managers across the EAME region.<br \/>\n\tDeliver executive-level reporting and performance updates to senior leadership.<br \/>\n\tManage business risk related to commercial activity at key mining sites.<br \/>\n\tPartner with regional and commercial leaders to execute recovery strategies and performance improvement plans.<br \/>\n\tAssign and manage field service personnel to optimize resource utilization and meet customer needs.<br \/>\n\tAct as a technical and strategic advisor during sales cycles and service agreement negotiations.<br \/>\n\tGather and report customer support trends to engineering and product teams for continuous improvement.<br \/>\n\tMonitor and improve key site metrics such as equipment availability, uptime, and cost per ton.<br \/>\n\tLead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for site performance issues in collaboration with the team and relevant business partners.<br \/>\n\tCo-develop and implement product support and equipment management processes with dealers and customers.<br \/>\n\tServe as a consultant to dealer and customer operations and executive teams on equipment strategy and performance.<\/p>\n<p>What You Bring<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\t15+ years of professional experience in mining, heavy equipment, and field service operations.<br \/>\n\t8\u201310 years of proven leadership experience, including team management and strategic decision-making.<br \/>\n\tExtensive field-based exposure in mining environments.<br \/>\n\tStrong background in Service Operations, Condition Monitoring, Connectivity, Customer Support Agreements, and dealer development.<br \/>\n\tDeep technical knowledge of mining equipment systems and operations, including hydraulics, rebuilds, ground engagement tools, and digital monitoring platforms.<br \/>\n\tFluent in English.
