Requirements<\/p>\n
In this position you will perform the following key responsibilities: Conduct thorough reviews of customer compliance programs to ensure regulatory alignment.<\/p>\n
\tAnalyze transactions to detect suspicious activity and identify red flags and potential breaches of the customer\u2019s agreement
\n\tInvestigate and escalate potential high-risk behaviors or patterns.
\n\tDraft clear and concise reports and documentation related to AML findings. And conduct the required follow up .
\n\tCommunicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to support compliance initiatives.
\n\tMaintain accurate records for audit and regulatory purposes.
\n\tContribute to the continuous improvement of AML procedures and controls.
\n\tManage multiple priorities with strong organizational and decision-making skills.<\/p>\n
The ideal candidate for this position should:<\/p>\n
\tUniversity degree or equivalent, ideally with a professional Certificate in AML field such as ACAMS- CGSS would be an advantage
\n\tMinimum of five years of AML compliance experience in the financial services sector
\n\tKnowledge of financial crimes and sanctions prevention requirements and controls (AML\/CFT, Sanctions, etc.)
\n\tExperience or certification in compliance or risk management would be a desirable advantage.
\n\tFamiliarity with industry practices and professional standards
\n\tSignificant background in regulated payments and financial services, especially money transfer payment systems
\n\tKnowledge of a regulated environment and associated risk.
\n\tSelf-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while working within a team environment.
\n\tExcellent written\/oral communication skills for documentation, drafting reports and presentations.
\n\tExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to work with and influence colleagues at all levels.
\n\tFluency in English (Reading\/Writing\/Oral)
\n\tDigitally aware and experienced with open source research<\/p>\n
