Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnvironmental: Guide and support the contractors to ensure compliance with the project EMPr\u2019s
\n\tHealth & Safety: Provide active and demonstrable support to the HSE Officers to enforce the HSE Plan on site
\n\tEnsure that the Contractors equipment is in a safe and good working condition at all times
\n\tContractor management on civil works: Ensure the contractors comply with its construction contract
\n\tDocument Management: Assist the Document Controller with site-generated project documentation
\n\tControl and monitor the drawing plan and ensure that contractors are working to the latest revision on the drawings
\n\tPlanning:\u00a0 Support project Planner and Surveyor with progress measurements
\n\tReporting: Support internal team with reporting and preparation of external reporting to the Client
\n\tQuality: Ensure the Quality Compliance of the contractor
\n\tInstill Corrective Action when deviations from plan or standards occur
\n\tCommercial: Assist Construction Site Manager and Commercial team with supporting document compilation for Project milestone payment claims
\n\tLiaising: Proactive interaction with internal and external stakeholders during the construction of all Civil Works
\n\tAttendance of Site Construction, Project Planning, Safety, Site Inspection meetings as required.
\n\tOn request for handover of a completed structure, the incumbent will carry out an inspection and compile a punch list for remedial work by the contractor.<\/p>\n

Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tTertiary qualification in an Engineering or Construction field (BSc, BTech or equivalent as a minimum)<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 10 years’ work experience as civil site engineer or civil construction supervisor, with at least 4 years\u2019 experience on mining projects
\n\tExposure and knowledge to multiple project execution will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
