A well-established financial services business is seeking to appoint a Senior Legal Advisor – Commercial.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tLLB degree
\n\tPost graduate financial qualification an added advantage
\n\tAdmitted Attorney<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 post articles experience in similar environment i.e. Private equity, Corporate finance, Management Consulting etc.
\n\tExperience in securities law
\n\tExperience in insolvency law
\n\tSolid experience in commercial law
\n\tProven working knowledge of Company law, Tax law and NCR
\n\tExperience in legal due diligence.
\n\tWorking knowledge of finance.
\n\tExperience in mergers and acquisitions is advantageous.
\n\tIn depth knowledge of laws and legal processes in respect of core business (primarily relating to Corporate Finance, Structured Finance and Investment Banking).
\n\tExcellent oral and written communication skills.
\n\tProven experience in negotiations.
\n\tAbility to engage at all levels.
\n\tStrong decision making and problem-solving skills.
\n\tLegal drafting skills.
\n\tProfessional and courteous to all clients (internal and external).
\n\tAccuracy in preparing legal documentation.
\n\tPresentation skills.
\n\tDrafting skills.
\n\tGeneral litigation and business rescue experience.<\/p>\n
