Minimum Qualifications and Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tB Com (Honours) in Commerce or B.Sc (Honours) in Finance, Property Studies-related degree or any other related commerce and finance degree\u00a0
\n\t4 – 5 years experience in post-investment management, with exposure to commercial property or other investments\u00a0
\n\tFAIS RE 05 Certificate or must be obtained within 6 months of employment\u00a0<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tCA (SA) would be an advantage\u00a0<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and analyse financial and non-financial performance information of Property Investments and their respective counterparties.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop monitoring plans and post-investment management strategies for all Unlisted Property investments.\u00a0
\n\tDevelop a post-investment plan to be submitted together with the investment appraisal report\u00a0
\n\tMonitor all investments (compliance and performance) in accordance with monitoring processes, policies, guidelines, frameworks and practices.\u00a0
\n\tMinimise impairments of investments through active monitoring of covenants and early remedial actions.\u00a0
\n\tCompile reports and present them to all Exco and Board sub-committees, as well as Clients.\u00a0
\n\tProvide early warning signs to the Property Investments Team, Management and the respective Committees.\u00a0
\n\tConduct investee companies and property site visits and maintain ongoing interactions with the investee companies.\u00a0
\n\tRisk mitigation and contributing to value enhancement strategies of property investments.\u00a0<\/p>\n
