Qualification & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Law (LLB)
\n\t2 years\u2019 experience in a legal, policy or compliance
\n\tAdmission as an Attorney \u2013 advantageous
\n\t2 years\u2019 post qualification experience (PQE) \u2013 advantageous
\n\t1 year experience in creative or cultural industries \u2013 advantageous
\n\tKnowledge of Government Regulatory Framework (e.g. PFMA, BBBEE, Preferential Procurement, POPI and PAIA)\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Research and monitor legal and regulatory framework of the industry:<\/p>\n
\tConduct desktop legal research on the audio-visual and greater creative media industry\u2019s related regulatory and industry environment
\n\tImplement changes as necessary by updating relevant policy or making submissions<\/p>\n
Review policies:<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and review policies to identify policy gaps
\n\tAssist the manager in the development of new policies as required
\n\tCoordinate and facilitate inductions on policies and procedures<\/p>\n
Manage organisational contracts management system:<\/p>\n
\tDraft relevant contractual documents such as addendums, stakeholder agreements, service provider agreements
\n\tReview and update NFVF contract templates
\n\tMaintain and update the NFVF contract registry
\n\tVerify necessary documentation, such as compliance documents, are attached to contractual agreements<\/p>\n
Monitor NFVF compliance with industry regulatory framework:<\/p>\n
\tAssist the Compliance and Research Manager in monitoring the regulatory framework of the South African audio-visual industry
\n\tAssist the Compliance and Research Manager in coordinating information for NFVF written submissions in response to regulatory developments.<\/p>\n
