About the Role:<\/p>\n
\tOur client is seeking a highly experienced ICT Manager to lead their ICT Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing ICT strategies, managing ICT operations, and ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and legislation.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement a three-year ICT strategy and budget aligned with organisational goals.
\n\tManage the ICT Department, including business planning, staff performance management, and resource allocation.
\n\tOversee ICT infrastructure, systems, and assets to ensure efficiency and reliability.
\n\tProvide ICT support across all departments and executive management.
\n\tOversee ICT-related procurement processes.
\n\tDevelop, implement, and monitor the ICT Risk Register.
\n\tEnsure compliance with legislation, policies, and governance frameworks.
\n\tDevelop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery systems.
\n\tPlan and monitor ICT budget and expenditure in line with strategic objectives.
\n\tCoordinate with auditors, address audit findings, and strengthen ICT security systems.
\n\tManage ICT contracts and oversee integration of ICT projects with external stakeholders and funders.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Essential Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
\n\tMinimum of 7 years\u2019 experience in ICT, including:
\n\t5 years in management, and
\n\t5 years in ICT project implementation.
\n\tStrong knowledge of ICT infrastructure setup, system development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
\n\tKnowledge of PFMA and applicable legislation.
\n\tExperience with ICT governance frameworks (experience with DPSA ICT governance is an advantage).<\/p>\n
