\tA leading company in the distribution industry is seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Representative to join their team in Witbank. The role is field-based, covering a region in the Mpumalanga province with a focus on areas like Witbank, Middelburg, Secunda, and Ermelo. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG sector or the meat\/butchery trade. Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tCultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within the designated sales territory.
\n\tDrive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, and actively seeking out new clients.
\n\tMeet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the territory.
\n\tDevelop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively present solutions to customers.
\n\tComplete all necessary sales reports, manage customer data, and update the company’s CRM system accurately.
\n\tAttend weekly in-office meetings, stay updated on trade information, and maintain clear and consistent communication with management and team members.
\n\tAddress and resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA proven track record in sales, with a strong preference for experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or the meat\/butchery industry.
\n\tMust have a Matric (high school) certificate. A tertiary qualification is beneficial but not essential.
\n\tStrong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
\n\tMust be comfortable with daily travel throughout the inner parts of Mpumalanga.<\/p>\n
