Description<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and manage daily cash balances and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements.
\n\tEnsure sufficient liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs, including managing working capital.
\n\tOversee cash pooling, inter-company funding (petty cash and bank charges) arrangements, and internal transfers.
\n\tManage and maintain relationships with banking partners, including negotiation of terms, fees, and credit facilities.
\n\tAdminister treasury systems and ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash positions and treasury transactions.
\n\tEvaluate and manage investment of surplus funds in accordance with approved policies.
\n\tDevelop and implement cash and treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets.
\n\tPrepare cash flow analysis for senior management.
\n\tProvide insights into treasury performance, cost saving opportunities, and financial risk exposure.
\n\tSupport internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
\n\tCollaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to support business initiatives and strategic planning
\n\tContribute to working capital optimisation and financial sustainability initiatives.
\n\tImplement treasury best practices and continuous process improvements.
\n\tEnforce financial & Internal Controls.
\n\tRisk and investment management.
\n\tStaff management.
\n\tReview General ledger and bank account and petty cash reconciliations.
\n\tCash and short-term investment management.
\n\tRecording, allocating and reconciling all bank and cash transactions, including EFTs and foreign exchange, receipts, payments, and petty cash.
\n\tFollow-up of unknown deposits with the bank.
\n\tSubmit vat returns to SARS and manage vat payments.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tRelevant Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting\/Finance\/Economics or equivalent.
\n\t5 years\u2019 relevant experience in Cash and Treasury.
\n\tProficiency in the MS Office suite (Advanced Excel skills).
\n\tGood communication skills, written and verbal.<\/p>\n
