\tWe are looking for an organised and goal oriented Advertising and Brand Specialist, with good formal presentation and communication skills, to\u00a0implement and maintain brand policies and strategies.
\n\tYou will be responsible for managing the planning and execution of the approved advertising implementation plans as well as ad hoc campaign strategies.\u00a0 You will also be required to support the Group’s business divisions and plans through the establishment of campaigns and solutions that answers the objectives defined by them.
\n\tYou will be required to\u00a0provide stakeholder liaison services focussed on maintaining and enhancing the company’s image and reputation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:<\/p>\n
\tCo-ordinate the activities required for the formulation of the Group’s brand strategy and contribute toward the formulation of the implementation plans that support the achievement of the brand and advertising objectives.
\n\tTo co-ordinate and manage the successful implementation of the approved advertising activities that underpin the objectives of the brand and advertising strategy.
\n\tGuide internal and external stakeholders to ensure that their activities support the Group’s overall brand and advertising objectives.
\n\tContribute toward the development of the department’s operational work plan.
\n\tCo-ordinate the activities related to media placements (chase lists, tear-sheets, etc).
\n\tCo-ordinate and present the department accounts on a monthly basis and keep accurate records of all invoices and account transactions.
\n\tManage liaison between AVBOB finance and stakeholder finance departments to ensure that budget tracking and spend to date figures from AVBOB finance are aligned.
\n\tManage subscriptions for advertising tools such as Shutterstock, Media Manager, Websend, Ornico, etc.
\n\tReporting (written and oral) related to the development and delivery on projects which the department is responsible for.
\n\tProvide advertising advisory services as well as advertising implementation support services to funeral branches, life offices, brokers and internal departments.
\n\tIf advertising and marketing related, assist funeral branches, life offices and internal departments with specifications required to fulfil the tender briefing requirements.
\n\tCo-ordinate the design activities of the department to ensure that external stakeholder requirements are met.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMarketing and Sales Diploma
\n\tMinimum of 10 years’ experience
\n\tMicrosoft Office
\n\tPrint, Radio, TV and below-the-line production experience
\n\tDigital and Social media understanding<\/p>\n
