Purpose of Job<\/p>\n
\tTo provide welding and fabrication coordination by organising resources in the delivering quality control, quality assurance, fabrication, welding, heat treatment and the use of service providers.<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tMonitor on site on RWS, compiling a bill of material and planning;
\n\tApprove ,scope and plan all notification, ensure execution of each Permit system 100% compliance:
\n\tKeep to -3% budgets for the NDT conducted and hired labour and heat treatment;
\n\tMinimize budget of welding consumables and materials(store) to be ordered;
\n\tEnsure that work standards are met according to quality standards & compliance;
\n\tCoordination with the field subcontractors for all welding procedures specifications and procedures qualification reports;
\n\tElaborating and coordinating the welding specifications , and codes\/standards;
\n\tReview course and effects of welding defects and take remedial actions;
\n\tCoordination with the third party NDT inspection company;
\n\tReview of the radiographic films and all NDT reports on a daily basis;
\n\tReviewing the inspection and testing methods and procedures for inspections;
\n\tMonitor any post weld heat treatment on site\/shop & review the completed chart;
\n\tCoordinating all relevant documents for the RWS for the job to proceed (approved ABC stamped drawings ,heat treatment procedures, approved WPS ,qualified welder ,BOM for materials to be used;
\n\tMake sure that all welds are quality engineering welds according to codes requirements;
\n\tApply safety in all practices, specifically project planning and execution;
\n\tCommunicate and behave professionally so that actions result in high level of credibility, trust and respect;
\n\tDevelop effective manager and peer working relationships in other departments;
\n\tEnsure that work and projects (RWS) plans meets the technical and professional objectives;
\n\tTake ownership for personal improvement and skills development;
\n\tEnsure that personal development plan is completed, implemented and tracked;
\n\tApply the learning experience at the workplace;
\n\tAgree and review personal performance goals and the achievement thereof;
\n\tSet and work towards own performance targets and goals as per personal performance agreement;
\n\tUpdate performance goals and performance agreement regularly;
\n\tReview compliance and follow up against the standards and objectives;
\n\tManage own work planning and delivery according to targets;
\n\tAdheres to standard procedures and practices with guidance.<\/p>\n
Fomal Education<\/p>\n
\tHigh School \/ School Diploma or Similar
\n\tWelding related trade with 2 years experience as Artisan.
\n\tNational Senior Certificate with English, Math\u2019s & Physical Science SG\/HG or N3 equivalent to Grade 12
\n\tSAIW Level 2 Inspection or SAIW Level 2 supervisors
\n\tASME codes (Wish)
\n\tIn total a minimum of 24 months as a Welding Specialist \/ Quality Specialist<\/p>\n
Working Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 05 years of experience<\/p>\n
