{"id":19293,"date":"2025-09-18T10:01:07","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T10:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/senior-human-resources-practitioner-ftc\/"},"modified":"2025-12-19T00:27:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T00:27:06","slug":"senior-human-resources-practitioner-ftc","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=19293","title":{"rendered":"Senior Human Resources Practitioner (FTC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>\tMain function will be to administer the training process for the MIBCO national.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the ATR\/ WSP are submitted to the Service SETA<br \/>\n\tIdentify and assess the workforce\u2019s current skill levels and compare them with the skills required to meet future business objectives and recommend appropriate solutions or courses to also improve skills throughout MIBCO.<br \/>\n\tCompile and coordinate WSP and advise Management accordingly with regards to training interventions that need to be scheduled.<br \/>\n\tEnsure training feedback documentation is completed after each training intervention and provide feedback to relevant Management.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all new employees complete an induction course on relevant work processes within the first month.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate the on-boarding of new employees with management and ensure completion within the required timelines.<br \/>\n\tAssist with the compilation of training manuals &amp; material.<br \/>\n\tFind appropriate training courses to accommodate the required training needs<br \/>\n\tUse initiatives to identify relevant training courses and share information with Management.<br \/>\n\tDesign and implement training plans.<br \/>\n\tAssist with the development of training budget (monitor costs and keep programmes in accordance with budget)<br \/>\n\tEnsure quality assurance of training and development<br \/>\n\tMaintain training records and update on the HR system on a monthly basis (attendance registers; invoices and schedules)<br \/>\n\tReview and assess employee Study Assistance for approval while complying with MIBCO Training and Development policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tCreate training certificates for all internal training completed and distribute to relevant Regions.<br \/>\n\tReview training and development policies, recommend changes and ensure accurate interpretation thereof.<br \/>\n\tParticipate and report on training at different forums<br \/>\n\tAssist with succession planning initiatives and its administration<br \/>\n\tCompile quarterly and annual reports for various forums and submit to HR Manager<br \/>\n\tContribute to the development and implementation of the HR strategy.<br \/>\n\tCoordinate and drive HR initiatives as required in line with area of specialisation.<br \/>\n\tEnsure effective recruitment, selection and on-boarding of new employees.<br \/>\n\tServe as coach to employees and managers in building high performing teams, enhancing employee engagement and improving retention of high-potential staff.<br \/>\n\tSupport the HR Manager in facilitating the Employment Equity and Skills. Develop committee meetings and submit relevant statutory reports as needed.<br \/>\n\tEnsure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and mitigate risk in consideration of labour laws, best practices and MIBCO organizational policies and procedures.<br \/>\n\tAssist with Organisational Development activities and projects including Change Management processes.<br \/>\n\tCompile relevant HR Reports (On a monthly, quarterly or annual basis)<br \/>\n\tParticipate in budgeting processes for the department.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate presentations to staff and management as needed.<br \/>\n\tPrepare and facilitate monthly Regional HR Business Partnering Meetings.<br \/>\n\tEnsure ongoing HR systems data integrity (Sage People HR\/ Performance Management System\/ E-Learning etc)<br \/>\n\tInternal HR processes improvement and auditing thereof.<br \/>\n\tWill be responsible for 2 regions in respect of various HR services including recruitment and selection<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge\/Experience\/Skills\/Requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tAbility to build strong effective relationships with all employees as well as external and internal stakeholders, i.e. service providers, colleagues and management.<br \/>\n\tAbove average verbal and written communication and listening skills<br \/>\n\tAbility to withstand pressure and manager multiple tasks.<br \/>\n\tMust at all times be diplomatic and assertive (where needed) with employees and \/or customers.<br \/>\n\tAbility to overcome obstacles and meet targets and deadlines, thereby producing the specified results.<br \/>\n\tAbility to work independently and use initiatives along with problem solving abilities.<br \/>\n\tMust be a good team player and achieve objectives.<br \/>\n\tMust be meticulous in carrying out tasks\/instructions etc.<br \/>\n\tGood interpersonal and decision-making skills<br \/>\n\tGood analytical skills with attention to details.<br \/>\n\tExcellent report writing skills and experience.<br \/>\n\tExcellent planning and organizational skills.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tRelevant Diploma\/Degree in Human Resources\/ Industrial Psychology or related HR field.
