\tMaintenance coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, stocking inventory and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
\n\tThe role is essential to ensure that all the equipment and infrastructure is maintained efficiently and effectively.<\/p>\n
Required outputs: functional<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and create maintenance schedules for equipment and facility
\n\tCoordinate repairs and maintenance work of surface Mobile Manufacturing Units
\n\tCreate and assign maintenance work orders of 65 Mobile Manufacturing Units
\n\tIdentify and priorities maintenance needs based on operational requirements
\n\tEnsure that maintenance tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standard
\n\tManage and track maintenance requests, work orders from inception to completion
\n\tMaintain inventory and ordering of spare parts
\n\tOversee maintenance supplies inventory
\n\tEnsure that tools, parts are available to complete maintenance tasks efficiently
\n\tTrack common failed parts and develop a replenishment strategy for spare part management
\n\tManage inventory spares to be value of R5 million rands
\n\tEnsure that maintenance operations comply with the OHS ACT and Mine Health and Safety
\n\tEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
\n\tDevelop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols
\n\tAssist in conducting site audits for safety, compliance and operational readiness
\n\tCritical assessment of maintenance operations
\n\tIdentify opportunities for improvement using data-driven decisions
\n\tCommunicate with other departments on scheduled maintenance
\n\tEnsure that maintenance logs are updated
\n\tSupport the Engineering Services Superintendent with maintenance logs
\n\tCompare invoices to the requested work and address discrepancies
\n\tLiaise with contractors to ensure services are performed as required
\n\tMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs
\n\tPrepare reports on maintenance status and budget<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMinimum: National Diploma, B-Tech & BSc Electrical or Mechanical engineering
\n\tMinimum: 3-5 years Maintenance planning
\n\tAdvantageous: Technical knowledge of Mobile Manufacturing Units
\n\tExperience working with OEMs and third-party contractors
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of engineering principles, standards and maintenance management systems (CMMS, SAP PM) in a manufacturing environment<\/p>\n
