The successful candidate reporting to the Manager Building and Facilities Maintenance will be responsible for:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tManage availability, maintenance and safety of tools.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure implementation of continuous improvement of the equipment\/infrastructure.\u00a0
\n\tProvide input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the asset.\u00a0
\n\tMonitor and manage quality of maintenance work.\u00a0
\n\tProvide input into the development of maintenance planning programmer and execution thereof.\u00a0
\n\tAdhere to relevant statutory\/legislative regulations, SOP’s, operational standards, policies and practices.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance to relevant statutory\/legislative regulations, SOP’s, operational standards, policies and practices.\u00a0
\n\tMonitor performance of contractors and service providers according to Service Level Agreement.\u00a0
\n\tProvide input to and manage allocated budget.\u00a0
\n\tParticipate in people development initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, talent management etc. to ensure team performance meet required standards.\u00a0
\n\tImplement and execute projects.\u00a0
\n\tAnalyse shift reports and planned work orders.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify and report possible efficiency enhancements and initiatives to ensure resource savings.\u00a0
\n\tBuild, support and maintain healthy diverse internal (peers, unions, team) as well as external (service providers etc.) relationships and implement remedial actions where required to ensure achievement of organisational goals.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that all affected stakeholders are up to date with the outage activities in their area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tAdvanced Diploma Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil is essential
\n\tRelevant Trade Test is essential
\n\t3- 5 years maintenance and projects operational experience is essential.
\n\t1 – 2 years maintenance and projects supervisory experience is essential.\u00a0 \u00a0
\n\tIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
