Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Nursing with an active registration with SANC
\n\tQualification in Primary Health Nursing
\n\tNIMART certified
\n\tAt least 5 years of nursing experience
\n\tSexual and reproductive health certificate-inclusive of Implant insertion and removal certificate
\n\tAt least 1-2 years Nursing experience in a primary healthcare environment
\n\tExperience working with adolescents
\n\tAt least 1-2 years staff management
\n\tComputer literacy with sound knowledge of email, excel, word processing and internet
\n\tKnowledge of HIV\/AIDS
\n\tStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication
\n\tAbility to work well under pressure and to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions
\n\tAbility to work harmoniously with youth of diverse backgrounds
\n\tClient focused
\n\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team
\n\tAbility to work in a team and to be able to foster a collaborative relationship with local clinics and hospitals
\n\tMust be detail orientated
\n\tGood planning and organizing skills
\n\tAdministration skills
\n\tMaintaining strict client confidentiality
\n\tWillingness and ability to work youth friendly hours \u00a0<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tProvide a welcoming and supportive environment for the youth and adolescent clients
\n\tEnsure good clinic flow in the youth clinic (YC)
\n\tMaintain participant confidentiality
\n\tProvide education on sexual reproductive health including HIV\/TB and STI education, screening and treatment to clients.
\n\tRapid testing for HIV & STIs
\n\tProvide Family Planning counselling & services including insertion and removal of Implanon
\n\tProvide PrEP and ARVs as required and related education and support on side-effects, adherence etc.
\n\tPerform pregnancy tests as required
\n\tProvide Primary Health Care services according to PACK & EDL guidelines
\n\tAssess, advise & treat the client needing a prescription
\n\tEnsure familiarity with local counselling testing and referral guidelines
\n\tRefer to relevant secondary or tertiary hospital as needed
\n\tCapture data daily on REDCape database
\n\tEnsure that consultation rooms have sufficient supplies to run the clinic on each day.
\n\tOrder stock monthly from Province
\n\tProvide stats monthly to DOH
\n\tManage medical waste monthly
\n\tMonthly checking of emergency trolley and eyewash stations<\/p>\n
