Performing statutory inspections on Pressure Equipment in Sasol Sasolburg Plants.<\/p>\n
\tPressure Equipment Regulations (PER)
\n\tInspection to Risk Based Inspection plans
\n\tReporting in PCMS system (Plant Condition Monitoring System)
\n\tPressure equipment in-service inspection to applicable API codes
\n\tValve and safety valve inspection to applicable API codes<\/p>\n
Key Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tIn-service Inspections including
\n\tStatutory Inspection on pressure vessels
\n\tInspection of piping systems
\n\tInspection of valves safety valves
\n\tInspection of tanks
\n\tStatutory record keeping of interventions on pressure equipment
\n\tInspection of corrosion prevention systems
\n\tTechnical input into failure and repair studies
\n\tCo-ordination and technical inputs into Risked Based Inspection studies on pressure equipment.
\n\tCo-ordination of non-destructive testing<\/p>\n
Formal Education<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12, Maths & Science \/ N3 with appropriate subjects (Maths \/ Science \/ Drawings)
\n\tSAQCC Competent Inspector Pressure Vessels
\n\tSAQCC Competent Inspector Pressure Vessels Non-Metallics may be advantageous
\n\tSAQCC Inspector of Pressurised Non-Metallics Equipment may be advantageous
\n\tSAQCC Competent Inspector Steam Generators may be advantageous
\n\tSAQCC Inspector of Pressurised Equipment may be advantageous
\n\tPenetrant testing level 1&2 may be advantageous
\n\tMagnetic Particle testing levels 1&2 may be advantageous
\n\tPenetrant testing level 1&2 may be advantageous
\n\tMagnetic Particle testing levels 1&2 may be advantageous<\/p>\n
Work Experience<\/p>\n
\t0-2 years work relevant experience in petro-chemical industries
\n\tWorking knowledge of and experience in API Inspection codes<\/p>\n

\nApplicant must be able to work in a petrochemical environment, including:<\/p>\n

\n\tWork in elevated positions
\n\tWork outside in plant environment<\/p>\n
