\tEnsures that hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards are maintained
\n\tMonitors adherence to merchandise\/display standards
\n\tChecks that pricing of products are correct
\n\tOptimises stock levels
\n\tManages inventory
\n\tChecks and advises on merchandising safety and hygiene standards
\n\tDevelops and builds supplier relationships
\n\tAnalyses category performance
\n\tMonitors departmental gross margins and turnover and identifies deviations
\n\tConducts bi-annual stock take
\n\tEvaluates the performance of subordinates against agreed objectives and standards
\n\tMonitors, assists and advises on staff performance
\n\tSupervises staff
\n\tProvides input into scheduling requirements for the department
\n\tEnsures that all equipment is maintained in effective working order
\n\tEnsures that checks are carried out on faulty equipment before calling out relevant contractor
\n\tEnsures that back-ups are well maintained
\n\tEnsures compliance to the provisions of the Liquor Act
\n\tEnsures adherence to security procedures
\n\tImplements shrinkage control measures & monitors all areas of possible loss due to theft, free bagging, fraud, and\/or carelessness
\n\tCompletes all relevant administration documentation<\/p>\n
