{"id":19509,"date":"2025-09-20T06:02:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T06:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/director-competitive-capabilities\/"},"modified":"2025-12-25T01:31:42","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T01:31:42","slug":"director-competitive-capabilities","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=19509","title":{"rendered":"Director, Competitive Capabilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KEY WORKING PARAMETERS<\/p>\n<p>Focus, Scope, &amp; Impact:<\/p>\n<p>\tImplement commercial execution enablement &amp; capability plans on V\/RTM (and consumer) that support distribution expansion, in-outlet execution and system capability for growing top-and bottom lines as well as using Value to Market (VTM) to determine best approach to reach the consumer within the occasion we are targeting.<br \/>\n\tLeverage superior understanding of all key execution levers to accelerate on vertical and horizontal distribution, Equipment management, Salesforce effectiveness, Out-of-stocks &amp; Cost-To-Serve Optimization using RTM framework (sense, shape and service) and thus grow topline (revenue expansion) and bottom line growth (cost to serve management)<br \/>\n\tLead the development alternative \u201cValue to Market\u201d solutions to maximize availability of KO brands as well as optimizing the revenue growth from TCCC brands targeted for scale.<br \/>\n\tOverview the implementation of the Value to Market Framework &amp; tools, w\/ focus on long term deployable and scaled system solutions for KO and Bottlers<br \/>\n\tEvolve, scale &amp; integrate iRED with Segmented Execution. Influence Bottlers to improve and expand iRED and use as competitive insights generator. Use iRED as a platform for category growth, targeting best outlets and prioritizing right execution.<br \/>\n\tThe role is laid out as an end to end system capability and will be collaboratively deployed with Global C&amp;CL as well as our bottlers. It is likely to be customized for market context (developed, developing, emerging) and bottler capability need.<\/p>\n<p>KEY SUCCESS PARAMETERS<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<p>\t10+ years of leadership experience in Commercial planning and commercial execution with strong skills in RTM\/VTM, Innovation and Channel strategy.<br \/>\n\tIt is preferable to have candidates with Bottler commercial experience.<br \/>\n\tThought Leadership \u2013 ability to generate new ways of thinking about our business and identify innovative ways around effective and efficient ways to reach the right consumers<br \/>\n\tProven Coca-Cola system knowledge &amp; influence including RTM and Customer, deep understanding of the complexities of the System such as bottler economics and system leverages, processes and tools in order to optimize solutions with our customers across channels<br \/>\n\tSolid analytical, interpretations, conceptual skills and ability to think from planning to execution and solid system commercial and execution management<\/p>\n<p>Work Focus<\/p>\n<p>\tThis role requires proven RTM expertise and a very solid system experience and perspective as well as highly developed strategic thinking and business analytics skills, combined with the ability to make complex business concepts understandable and compelling.<br \/>\n\tThis role must be able to influence bottlers &amp; investments in required VTM capability to achieve our category growth ambition.
