PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS JOB:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for the full Debtors and Cashbook function, which included administration, liaising with internal and external clients as well as suppliers & Financial Institutions.<\/p>\n
KEY RESULT AREAS:<\/p>\n
Debtors control and maintenance<\/p>\n
\tReceives documentation from relevant departments and journalism revenues\/corrections and payments
\n\tCompiles journals with detailed documentation on a monthly\/daily basis
\n\tForwards journals for authorization
\n\tCommunicates and negotiates with fee payers, lawyers, staff and departments to recover outstanding monies and arrange payment
\n\tPrepares letters and communicates with Administrators on a monthly basis
\n\tPrepares reports to apply for write off of irrecoverable debts and forward to the relevant authority.<\/p>\n
Control accounts and journals<\/p>\n
\tAnalysis and reconciles control account and obtain relevant documentation
\n\tJournalise re-allocation
\n\tComply and uphold finance processes in line with company and statutory regulations<\/p>\n
Payments<\/p>\n
\tReceives payments daily deposits and allocations
\n\tChecks and ensure allocations are correct as per policy
\n\tForwards documentation to controller for checking
\n\tControl and maintain debit order database ensuring all monies are collected. Communication with unpaid fee payers
\n\tComply and uphold finance processes in line with company and statutory regulations<\/p>\n
\u00a0Special Projects<\/p>\n
\tSpecial projects as and when required by manager. Innovation and ideas to improve collections and administrative process.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ad hoc duties<\/p>\n
\tAssist FM with ad hoc financial reports\/duties as required
\n\tAssist with HO office reception duties and ensure procedures are followed.
\n\tAssist with ad hoc duties or events i.e. Good Food & Wine.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum qualification of Financial Accounting\/Business Administration Certificate
\n\tD365 (Advantageous)
\n\tMicrosoft excel (Non \u2013 negotiable)
\n\tExcalibur (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tExcel Literate
\n\tAccounting packages and Windows
\n\tComputer Literate,
\n\tDebt Collecting,
\n\tInterpersonal skills
\n\tKnowledge around Legislative updates<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAt least 2 – 3 years\u2019 experience in finance clerk position dealing with debtors, creditors & cashbooks.
\n\tDebtors experience (Non \u2013 negotiable)
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
