Align to customer needs, manage the initiative pipeline.<br \/>\n\tLead sourcing deals as required, including stakeholder and project management, deal architecture, negotiation, contract development.<\/p>\n<p>Procurement<\/p>\n<p>\tOwn key supplier relationships relevant to the customer if applicable, including issue resolution, driving supplier performance and direction, supporting the supplier governance process.<\/p>\n<p>Qualification &amp; Experience <\/p>\n<p>\tBachelor\u2019s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles \u2013 including sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier relationship management.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of data analysis and reporting tools \u2013 with the ability to interpret procurement data and translate it into actionable insights.<br \/>\n\tProven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally within financial services, insurance, or a regulated industry.<br \/>\n\tStrong data analysis skills, with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other analytical tools; experience with procurement analytics platforms preferred.<br \/>\n\tExcellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of procurement governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks<br \/>\n\tStrong communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to influence at senior levels.<br \/>\n\tProfessional procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS) advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>Behavioural Competencies<\/p>\n<p>\tLegislative and Procedural Adherence<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding, remaining up to date with and adhering to policies, procedures, codes of conduct, legislative prescripts, and service delivery standards applicable to the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>Query and Complaint Resolution <\/p>\n<p>\tAttending to queries and complaints timeously, constructively, empathetically, and professionally by utilising all necessary resources available.<\/p>\n<p>Organisational and Environmental Awareness <\/p>\n<p>\tUnderstanding the insurance industry ideally in claims procurement, as well as the organisational strategy, structure, stakeholders, guiding principles, climate, market, and culture in relation to the achievement of goals and end-results.<\/p>\n<p>Accuracy and Attention to Details <\/p>\n<p>\tExecuting tasks accurately and thoroughly in accordance with service standards and quality expectations<\/p>\n<p>Problem Analysis and Decision Making <\/p>\n<p>\tApplying analytical thinking to identify and resolve problems by critically evaluating information, applying personal judgment and experience, consulting relevant parties, considering organisational resources, and reflecting on the bottom line.<\/p>\n<p>Technical Competencies<\/p>\n<p>Claims Procurement &amp; Claims Cost Control<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvanced claims spend analytics: identifying trends in indemnity and expense costs.<br \/>\n\tUse of data visualization tools (SAP, QlikView) to track claims supplier performance.<br \/>\n\tModelling scenarios for claims cost reduction (repair vs replacement, in-house vs outsourced).<br \/>\n\tData matching and validation across claims, finance, and supplier systems to ensure accuracy.<br \/>\n\tThird-Party Risk Management (TPRM) frameworks applied to claims suppliers<\/p>\n<p>Insurance-Specific Risk &amp; Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsuring compliance with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Consumer Duty principles in supplier arrangements.<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of GDPR and data-sharing rules in claims supply chains (e.g., loss adjusters handling customer data).<br \/>\n\tSupporting procurement\u2019s role in operational resilience for claims services.<\/p>\n<p>Financial &amp;
