In this role you will be responsible for managing designated of designated team, plant, and materials in a culture of performance monitoring, review and action, open communication, employee involvement, employee relations, continuous improvement in support of achieving organization mission and objectives. To ensure employee safety, product quality and performance while delivering on time the shift production plan.<\/p>\n
A day in the life of a Team Leader:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the timely deployment of the People development plan and assure the competencies of his\/her team as per the agreed plan with PM (proper training inc. equipment, safety procedures, hygiene)
\n\tEnforce strict compliance with SOPs by all personnel during the shift to maintain operational efficiency and safety.\u00a0
\n\tCoach employees to fulfil and exceed the requirements of the job through NCE approach fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
\n\tEnsure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order, including all installations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
\n\tCheck and enforce personnel hygiene & safety e.g., protective clothing (uniform), shoe change & hand wash.
\n\tEnsure continuous line controls and take immediate corrective action to assure prescribed quality and to ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions.
\n\tEnsure ongoing smooth operations of the factory through effective employee and industrial relations management.
\n\tEnsure that there is an adequate distribution of skills to enable production plan to be achieved effectively.
\n\tEnsure timely launch of new products on the Market as agreed with the business unit.
\n\tEnsure adequate maintenance of the installations in coordination with quality, engineering & administration.
\n\tDrive adherence to TPM activities on the shop floor to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.<\/p>\n
What will make you successful?<\/p>\n
\tDegree\/Diploma in Food sciences, Chemistry or Chemical\/Mechanical engineering or Operations Management.
\n\t3 years or more experience in similar role.
\n\tExperience in FMCG will add as an advantage.
\n\tDemonstration of leadership ability by leading a project within a factory environment.
\n\tDemonstration of Leadership skills in positively confronting inappropriate behavior and using everyday coaching to ensure involvement of the workforce.
\n\tProven ability to build and maintain a cohesive team, encouraging collaboration and a positive work culture.
\n\tFlexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and foster a collaboration team environment.<\/p>\n
