Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Accounts Receivable & Collections<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and reconcile client account statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
\n\tFollow up on outstanding payments and escalate overdue accounts to relevant stakeholders.
\n\tRecord all client communications and collection activities in the Case Management System (CMS).
\n\tCollaborate with relationship attorneys to support collection efforts and resolve billing queries.
\n\tInvestigate and resolve unapplied payment matters.
\n\tProcess refunds and request write-offs in accordance with firm policy.
\n\tManage consolidated billing and finalize prebills for designated accounts.
\n\tRetrieve remittance details from client portals and ensure timely, accurate payment allocation.
\n\tDistribute special statements to clients within the first four working days of each month.
\n\tKeep debtor days to a minimum and consistently meet monthly collection targets.<\/p>\n
Accounting & Administrative Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist with month-end financial tasks, reconciliations, and reporting.
\n\tConduct company searches and assists with ad-hoc financial duties as required.
\n\tProvide backup support for absent Credit Controllers when needed.
\n\tpying and general office duties.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric or equivalent qualification
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in Credit Control or Junior Bookkeeping, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
\n\tClear Criminal and ITC record<\/p>\n
