FACILITY & WASTE OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n
\tManage housekeeping according to cGMP
\n\tUninterrupted availability of 2L canters in Cell 3 and Hennie containers for waste
\n\tRun Waste activities smoothly across NTP facilities
\n\tDocument waste drums via route cards and check stock monthly
\n\tMaintain inventory levels in Cell 2, Cell 3, and waste yards below OTS limits
\n\tSample and transfer waste tanks to LEMS timeously
\n\tContact dose monitoring of nuclear waste tanks and communication to relevant stakeholders
\n\t\u00a0Dispose expired chemicals of MSDS, PO, and arranged collection
\n\t\u00a0Keep enough DPTE and CPTE containers in stock<\/p>\n
COMPLIANCE, DOCUMENTATION & QUALITY ASSURANCE<\/p>\n
\tComply with NLM-WAR-0004, SHEQ-INS, cGMP, and GDP requirements
\n\tGenerate, review, and update SOP\u2019s regularly
\n\tGenerate, review, and aligned records with GDP principles
\n\tAudit actions and CAPAs closed out effectively and on time
\n\tEnsure CAPA occurrences minimized with no re-occurrences in a financial year
\n\tIdentify, validate, calibrate equipment\u2019s, and ensure that records are maintained
\n\tGenerate and submit monthly\/quarterly reports
\n\tComplete accurate data into electronic waste management system<\/p>\n
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that employees are trained, authorized, and Swe\u2019d to SOPs and PRGs
\n\tKeep statutory and GDP\/cGMP training records
\n\tPlan weekly meetings
\n\tManage employees leave and overtime
\n\tConduct performance reviews and ensure corrective actions are taken<\/p>\n
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with NTP drivers, nuclear waste operators, production, maintenance, NLM, RPO, and service providers
\n\tProvide feedback to waste management and other role players
\n\tTrain new personnel and relevant documents ensured
\n\tDemonstrate exemplary safety-conscious behaviour to staff and colleagues<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in Waste management or Equivalent
\n\tCertificate in Leadership\/ Management NQF level 5<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience:<\/p>\n
\t8 years\u2019 experience working with radioactive waste or in a radioactive environment (Waste treatment) of which 3 years\u2019 experience managing \/ supervising a team of people.<\/p>\n
