\tGrade 12.\u00a0
\n\tA relevant 3 year tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma or B-com with Internal Audit and Risk Management as a major
\n\t2 – 5 year’s functional experience.\u00a0
\n\tComputer Literacy.
\n\tRegistration with a recognized professional body.\u00a0
\n\tValid Driver’s License.\u00a0
\n\tGovernance and Management processes.\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards, GRAAP, Code of ethics, King IV and COSO.<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITY:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate and control processes and procedures associated with the formulation of the Municipality’s risk-based Internal Audit Plan and Program.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that the planning and fieldwork of the audit engagement is conducted in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards, approved Internal Audit Methodology and approved Internal Audit Plan.\u00a0
\n\tDetailed Analysis of records and paper trails, conduct interviews, test and\/or verify information and data.\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate processes and procedures to determine the Municipality’s exposure to operational and compliance risks.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that audit observations, information, advice or opinion are accurately formulated and communicated through the provision of adequate, factual and concise explanation and that auditee relations are maintained.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that the audit engagements are prepared within the agreed timelines and timely reporting on progress made and remedial actions thereof.\u00a0
\n\tAssist with Risk Management processes and detailed reporting thereof.
\n\tAssist the Manager: Internal Audit and Risk with the coordination and administration of Audit and Performance Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee.
\n\tPerform the review of Financial Statements and comment to the immediate superior on their credibility and compliance to relevant legislations.
\n\tProvide information and assistance to the Auditor General as and when required.<\/p>\n
