Duties:<\/p>\n
Implementation of a system intended to maintain and extend the evaluation, accreditation, and monitoring of independent schools, including, but not limited to:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDeveloping and maintaining a database for independent schools
\n\tDeveloping accreditation, monitoring, and evaluation instruments and manuals
\n\tAssisting in the development of accreditation and monitoring policies and procedures
\n\tGenerating and editing evaluation reports
\n\tPlanning and coordinating site visits and reporting
\n\tArranging and facilitating workshops
\n\tEstablishing and maintaining sound relations with independent schools and other relevant stakeholders
\n\tPerforming any other tasks that are reasonably assigned by the supervisor.<\/p>\n
Requirements:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAn appropriate recognised 3 or 4 year post-matric qualification in education
\n\tA post-graduate education qualification will be an added advantage
\n\tCurrent registration with the South African Council for Educators (SACE)
\n\tAt least 3 years\u2019 working experience in an environment offering the NSC\/CAPS and 3 years\u2019 middle management experience in the school environment
\n\tExperience in an independent school will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe uniqueness of independent schools
\n\tAccreditation, monitoring, and evaluation systems and processes
\n\tGood verbal and written English communication and report writing skills
\n\tSound training and facilitation skills
\n\tProject management, coordination, and strong administration skills.<\/p>\n
