\tTo provide a value adding expert certification and operational management service to internal and external customers which exceeds the requirements of the SABS processes and contributes to the image and standing of the organisation.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS\/REGISTRATION<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma\/ Diploma in Chemical\/ Chemistry\/ Polymer Technology or Relevant field \u00a0(NQF Level 6)
\n\tValid driver\u2019s licence (and be willing to travel) as per industry requirements
\n\tSAATCA Registration is advantagous<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t3 years\u2019 work experience in manufucturing of Chemical\/ Rubber\/ Plastic Products\/ Paints and Sealants and Glass Reinforced Products or relevant field (Operational Level)
\n\tSystems Management work experience. (Operational Level)<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nFunctional Management<\/p>\n
\tPlan, schedule, conduct audits, within scope of control.
\n\tLead on-site audit team in line with client and SABS requirements.
\n\tParticipate and lead pre-audit meetings and complete audit preparation.
\n\tAct as mentor for candidate auditors and new auditors, within scope of control.
\n\tAct as subject matter expert in areas of competence in CTC, technical committees and work groups.
\n\tPartake in certification\/lab workgroups.
\n\tConduct peer evaluations and generate reports and recommendations, within scope of control
\n\tConduct on-site evaluations as required.
\n\tObtain test samples as required by SPC and notify the sample controller.
\n\tWrite and submit comprehensive audit reports to clients based on the scope of work required in line with SABS quality requirements.
\n\tPrepare presentations and present audit findings to relevant stakeholders.
\n\tComplete the clearance on findings as raised in the audit and documented in the audit report.
\n\tUpload all reports and certificates to the Document Management System as per SABS standard operating procedures.
\n\tManage and control the information (within scope of control) to ensure that audits conducted for clients are valid and reliable.
\n\tPromote and enhance the awareness of the SABS\u2019s services and products offered.
\n\tAssist in the creation of opportunities to up sell and to create additional business for the organisation.
\n\tSubmit all relevant reports within scope of control on time.<\/p>\n
Risk and Compliance Management<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to the risk mitigation (e.g. fraud) controls and risk prevention principles and implement sound governance and compliance processes in line with SABS policies.
\n\tImplement regulatory operational controls that have been are communicated.
\n\tSupport and provide evidence to all internal and external audit, Accreditation and regulatory requirements.
\n\tSupport the maintenance of related Service Level Agreements to minimise business risk and ensure business continuity.
\n\tEnsure adherence to all relevant laws, SABS policies and Standard Operating Procedures.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships for the purpose of knowledge sharing and integration, and management of the organisation\u2019s reputation
\n\tRepresent and participate in the organisation\u2019s committees and tasks teams when required.
\n\tConvene, chair and attend meetings and present performance and business related information to relevant stakeholders when required.
\n\tProvide technical support on projects when required.
\n\tActively liaise and build relationships with SABS clients and service providers so as to ensure that the service standards are met appropriately.
\n\tProvide necessary information in order to resolve customer complaints.
\n\tReport on any stakeholder engagements to ensure continuity and follow ups for future engagements.<\/p>\n
