Purpose of the role<\/p>\n
\tThe Proposal and Applications Specialist will be responsible for Milling Consumable Service Line within the region, to drive the commercial success of our product offerings by developing compelling value propositions, reviewing product selections, and supporting regional proposal resources to ensure alignment with sales strategies. Key responsibilities also include management and execution of key opportunity proposals (CRM) through strong internal customer support, promotion of the growth strategy and application of product knowledge.<\/p>\n
Your responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tDevelops costing and proposals for EMEA and APAC regions
\n\tValue Proposition Development: Craft and articulate the unique value of our products and services to meet customer needs and differentiate from competitors.
\n\tProduct Selection Review: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product offerings align with customer requirements and commercial objectives.
\n\tProposal Resource Support: Provide guidance and support to proposal resources, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and timely proposal submissions.
\n\tCommercial Analysis: Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and product development.
\n\tSupport global engineering efforts in product standardization, production methods, and materials.
\n\tApplies designs using technical knowledge and experience, and establishing design criteria to the Company\u2019s standards
\n\tEnsure designs deliver effective reliable products that can be viably and cost-effectively manufactured.
\n\tEnhance market knowledge related to assigned product portfolio through interactions with colleagues, suppliers, clients, and branch networks.
\n\tPromotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company\u2019s operational activities.<\/p>\n
What you bring<\/p>\n
\tProven experience in commercial sales, marketing, or a related field.
\n\tStrong understanding of sales strategies, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
\n\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
\n\tAbility to work collaboratively across functions and lead by influence
\n\tCapable to communicate complex concepts to customers in simple terms
\n\tFrom time to time, able to travel, domestic and international
\n\tCollege degree or equivalent experience.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 10 years of experience within the mining\/industrial industry.\u00a0
\n\tMinimum 5 years of experience with mining consumable products.\u00a0
\n\tMechanical Background, able to read and understand Mechanical drawings
\n\tPrevious experience with mill liners is preferred
\n\tProficient with Solid works and Enovia
\n\tProficient with engineering design tools
\n\tProficient in engineering fundamentals
\n\tGood verbal and written communication skills.
\n\tAbility to collaborate with core discipline design teams achieve a working solution to problems.
\n\tMay work on proposals, orders, standization, product improvement efforts of Mill liners.
\n\tPrepare, relieves and approves 3D designs
\n\tReviews customer specifications
\n\tPromotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company\u2019s operational activities.
