\tWe are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead in the \u00a0Financial Operations sphere to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in accounting, analysis, and reconciliation, particularly in managing foreign currency transactions. You will lead a team to ensure the accuracy of financial data, efficient reconciliation processes, and effective reporting while fostering a collaborative team environment.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nReconciliations and Accuracy
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tComplete daily bank reconciliations.
\n\tResolve reconciliation items within 48 hours SLA agreement.
\n\tMaintain high-quality and up-to-date supporting documents.
\n\tAddress team queries(FinOps related) within 24 hours SLA agreement
\n\tProvide insight\/summary reports on a daily\/weekly\/monthly basis as and when required.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Analysis
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tComplete, upload, and certify month-end reconciliations by the 3rd business day of each month.
\n\tRespond to month-end reconciliation queries within 1 business day.
\n\tPerform regular trend and cost analysis on the accounts to identify discrepancies and variances, enabling management to make informed, data-driven decisions. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Systems, Processes, and Controls
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the accounting system functions effectively to support timely reporting.
\n\tMaintain and store all journal supporting documentation on the shared drive.<\/p>\n
Data Management
\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSave all work on OneDrive to mitigate the risk of data loss.
\n\tEnsure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
\n\tVerify all data for consistency and accuracy before sharing or distribution.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Non-Negotiable Educational Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBCom Accounting degree.
\n\tExperiance in Bank Reconciliations
\n\tReconciliation experience (1-3 years)
\n\tExposure to MS Suite, Proficiency in Excel and undeerstanding accounting Systems<\/p>\n
Non-Negotiable Experience<\/p>\n
\tStrong background in reporting and analysis.
\n\tProficiency in Excel and pivot tables.<\/p>\n
Preferred Experience<\/p>\n
\tExperience with SAP and QlikView is beneficial.
\n\tTeam management experience is advantageous.<\/p>\n
