\tWe are seeking an experienced\u00a0Senior Quantity Surveyor\u00a0to join our client’s dynamic consulting team, in Pretoria,\u00a0specializing in mining projects. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and diverse mining ventures while managing and mentoring a team of intermediate and junior quantity surveyors.
\n\tDue to specific client requirements and project nature, preference will be given to candidates who completed their studies at the\u00a0University of the Free State\u00a0(Bloemfontein) or\u00a0University of Pretoria.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead and manage a team of intermediate and junior quantity surveyors across multiple mining projects
\n\tOversee cost management and commercial aspects of mining construction and infrastructure projects
\n\tProvide expert quantity surveying services throughout project lifecycles
\n\tEnsure delivery of high-quality outputs with exceptional attention to detail
\n\tManage resources effectively to meet project deadlines and budget requirements
\n\tMentor and develop team members to enhance their professional capabilities
\n\tLiaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Registration<\/p>\n
\tBSc Honours degree in Quantity Surveying
\n\tProfessional registration with SACQSP (Pr.QS) or RICS
\n\tGraduates from University of the Free State (Bloemfontein) or University of Pretoria preferred<\/p>\n
Experience & Skills<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 8 years post-graduation experience in quantity surveying
\n\tProven experience specifically within the mining sector
\n\tStrong leadership and team management capabilities
\n\tExceptional quality standards and attention to detail<\/p>\n
Technical Proficiency<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite<\/p>\n
Expert-level knowledge and experience in:<\/p>\n
