This role involves more than data analysis-it requires translating complex datasets into actionable insights that directly influence spend strategies, supplier negotiations, onboarding processes, and contracting KPIs.

Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Sciences, or Business Mathematics.
\n\t2+ years of business intelligence or data analytics experience.
\n\tShort-term Insurance industry exposure will be an advantage.
\n\tProficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical methods.
\n\tExperience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly).
\n\tCloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous.
\n\tFamiliarity with version control systems (Git, AWS Commit).<\/p>\n

\tProcurement Insights: Support direction-of-spend modelling, identify cost efficiencies, and enable stronger supplier negotiations.
\n\tClaims Analytics: Deliver insights to optimize claims processes, improve efficiency, and support decision-making across key operational areas.
\n\tContracting & Onboarding: Analyze vendor performance and assist in defining KPIs to strengthen contracting frameworks and onboarding processes.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities and Work Outputs:<\/p>\n
\tData Acquisition & Cleaning: Extract and prepare data from multiple sources, ensuring quality and consistency.
\n\tExploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Investigate data distributions, relationships, and emerging trends.
\n\tStatistical Analysis & Modelling: Apply techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing, and predictive modelling to identify trends and forecast outcomes.
\n\tData Visualization: Build compelling dashboards and visual reports (Tableau, PowerBI, Plotly) that simplify complex findings for stakeholders.
\n\tReporting & Recommendations: Translate analysis into clear, actionable insights that directly inform procurement and claims strategies.
\n\tCollaboration: Partner with procurement, claims, and operations teams to tailor solutions to business needs.
\n\tGovernance: Maintain high data integrity standards through validation and documentation processes.<\/p>\n
