Duties And Responsibilities Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To:<\/p>\n
\tProvide expert technical support to internal and external customers, diagnosing issues and offering solutions.
\n\tEnsure technicians complete all jobs within the designated time frame, optimising workflow and maintaining service centre productivity.
\n\tResponsible for job allocation and job flow in the service centre, including job scheduling.
\n\tEngage in thorough troubleshooting and assist technicians and customers with solutions
\n\tTraining and coaching of technicians.
\n\tOffer suggestions for the performance evaluation of technicians.
\n\tEnsure quality checks are performed on all repaired equipment, maintaining the highest standards of service.
\n\tProvide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component\/part, failures, observations, actions, and recommendations.
\n\tEnsure the adequate maintenance of tools, equipment and other materials in the Service Centre.
\n\tEnsure that all OHS procedures are followed and that all tools and equipment is handled with proficiency and with the necessary respect
\n\tRespond to customer requests for updates on the status of their jobs and keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate and customer satisfaction is achieved.
\n\tAssist with administrative tasks related to job cards, call-outs, and customer communication, maintaining accurate records.
\n\tRepair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.
\n\tDisassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
\n\tObserve and test the operation of machinery or equipment and diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
\n\tReassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
\n\tClean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.
\n\tExamine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
\n\tTest newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
\n\tProvide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component\/part, failures, observations, actions, and recommendations.
\n\tRecord parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials as necessary.
\n\tEnsure excellence in customer service delivery through meticulously following procedures\/processes.
\n\tEnsure the correct documentation is in place and accurately completed before repairs are done.
\n\tWork standby and overtime, when required to do so.
\n\tOther duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tRelevant technical qualification – electrical\/mechanical
\n\tTechnical (workshop and repairs) experience of 3+ years which includes repairs, assembly of equipment, quotations on parts and the likes
\n\tDriver\u2019s License
\n\tPC literate (SAP, Excel, Word, e-mail)<\/p>\n
