Major Activities<\/p>\n
\tPerform all relevant maintenance activities on equipment and systems as per the relevant LSP, station instructions and equipment manufacturer recommendations
\n\tEnsure that maintenance to buildings at the sites, the site itself such as roads, grass cutting, fencing, antenna masts, terrestrial communications and power from point of supply is maintained to ATNS standards
\n\tCompliance to SLA\u2019s
\n\tEnsure that the relevant equipment competences are attained as per station requirements and the appropriate Skills Matrix grading
\n\tPerform \u201cI\u201d Level corrective fault diagnosis down to module (LRU) level
\n\tPerform \u201cI\u201d Level corrective maintenance through module (LRU) replacement
\n\tPerform \u201cO\u201d Level restoration of service by reconfiguration and\/or changeover by means of supervisor positions and remote control, monitoring and maintenance systems. (RCMMS)
\n\tPerform \u201cD\u201d Level corrective maintenance where applicable as per ATNS support policy
\n\tCompliance within SLA\u2019s
\n\tDraft useful, informative and concise technical reports on systems and equipment as requested and proactively when the need arises
\n\tCapture all relevant data on the CBMMS
\n\tCompliance with RT procedures
\n\tCompliance with Airport Regulations
\n\tUnderstand the impact of equipment availability on the national ATM service delivery
\n\tEnsure compliance with ATNS ISO 9001 procedures.
\n\tEnsure compliance with SACAA and ICAO recommendations
\n\tComply with the ATNS OH&S plan
\n\tLiaison with ATC; peers and external clients
\n\tBecome proficient in the \u201cO\u201d level support of all Communications, Navigation and Surveillance systems and Equipment at your center
\n\tBecome proficient in the \u201cO\u201d level support of all Support systems and equipment at your center, which will include UPS\u2019s, Air-conditioning, Stand-by power, Fire protection and Alarm systems where required as per the SSI
\n\tDevelop an understanding of and become proficient in RCMMS methods for the effective evaluation of system and equipment performance
\n\tBecome proficient in the use of specialized test, monitoring and B.I.T.E equipment
\n\tDevelop an understanding of testing methods for the effective evaluation of system and equipment performance
\n\tKnowledge of all other applicable ATNS Centre and Shift requirements
\n\tKnowledge of all other FIR environments<\/p>\n

\tS4 National Diploma in Light Current Electronic Engineering or equivalent, granting admittance to ECSA as an Engineering Technician or Technologist.
\n\tB-Engineering Tech
\n\tA valid code 8 driver\u2019s license; preferably ACSA AVOP certified<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years in CNS ATM equipment maintenance and thorough knowledge of the following:<\/p>\n
